... Blackjack stylee
(I don't have my 'cool title' head on today, sorry).
The trouble with living in the Evermoors, Ravenswood in particular, is that it's crawling with monsters - marsh trolls, lurkers, bog eels, various other predators and, worse still, lots of undead (on account of previous residents including the dracoliche Raven and the dracyre Azeth). With the notable exception Shade, Blackjack hates the undead (along with elves, faeries, dwarves, trolls... need I go on?) and so when he's not out slaying demons or in a drunken post-brawl stupor under a table in some seedy tavern he can often be found whiling away the hours clearing out the 'undesirables' from his territory.
I think from his expression he's just realised that the Unbinder (his axe) is now stuck. Probably not a good thing when dealing with undead giant bog eels. I wonder what happens next...
and meh.... my scanner somehow stripped all the depth from the original painting.

You did a wonderful job using ink to shadow. It takes a lot of time to do it
And i like the fact that the edges of the page aren't straight, it gives it a better look (i think anyways)
