A Winters White Lust

A blanket of white
As cold as the wind
Covers the ground
It is time again

Look to the sky
And see it all fall
The little crystals
Come to the call

A death so pleasant
So swift and so cruel
The moment of life
Lost in this duel

A light so blinding
Nothing is fair
But in a world so frozen
No one can care

A duel of proportions
So epic and high
No one can live
Even the snowflakes will die

So take what you can
And leave what you must
Because no one can survive
A winters white lust
