La la la...This...is Mr. Jiro Hinapouri, a resident of San Marcos, North California, in the United Republics of Earth. He is an angry, troubled young man of fifteen years, who serves as the main-most protagonist of Onieros. Jiro is a severe onierophobic, and terrified (not unjustly so) that he might very honestly be going insane...but he's trying to keep this information confidential, which serves to be frustrating. To deal with his fears, he tries his best to keep from sleeping...ever. This self-imposed insomnia doesn't really help, as he then nods off from exhaustion in awkward places, and otherwise does a number on his health. His hair started going gray when he was six, and by the time he was eleven, it had turned completely white. There are psychologists trying to study his brain, but Jiro's being uncooperative. He feels guilty about what he's doing to his family, but he's so angry with himself and angry with them and angry in general that he's exacerbating the problems. Very soon, one suspects that he will do something drastic.

...Anyway...His story has to do with what love is, and with ideas of destiny versus free will.

...I have this terrible looming fear that I'm damned for all time to literary criticism hell, because I have, here, written a story about a white-haired, teenage Asian kid with a "destiny". I first started writing this thing when I was thirteen, and still in my 'Wapanese' phase (which died when I started actually studying the science and history of the art of sequential visual narration.) Alas.

Girl, he could sit on the rest of the white-haired teenage Asian kids with destinies and snap their SPINES. And feel no regret.

Tumult Says:

I always wondered why his hair was white AND SHEEZY ATE MY COMMENT THE FIRST TIME AJDFHASKFASa

Rikki Merie Says:

PHEH don't worry about that you've put so much description and story behind him it puts the others to shame. I really love his background! ..again another squishy young man you have created D:

Yammo Says:

That is very interesting. I think I am closer to Jiro than your other chars for some reason

benjamin breeg Says:

love the buttons and shading. this totally rock *fav*

Hikara Productions Says:

I've always wondered about that Jiro kid...do I smell angstiness? Anyways, it was a very fruitful read, methinks. :3 *nodnod* It's good to be learning about the characters besides DIS, you know?

Sana Says:

just because your character has a few iconic features from other media, doesn't mean you idea is unoriginal. Personally, I think Onerios is one of the most inspired stories I've ever heard of.

And I'm trying so hard to kill off my wapanese phase....taking the language doesn't help much though.
