Sonic Bastardized 3: Bloopers

Here is the audio for the Sonic Bastardized 3.

I know what you're all probably thinking, "Dude, where's my El Bastardo?"
Long story short, I don't have the time for anything like that anymore. I would like to, but I have so much going on, that I seriously can work on it.

Which leads me to my next topic. I probably won't be doing videos anymore. They take about 24 hours of solid work. Not this "month" bullshit where they only work on it an hour day. It's 24 hours total of me sitting in front of the computer editing and capturing and this and that. I wouldn't mind it so much - if the returns weren't so little.

My website is $150 a month. And, yes I had fun with the videos, but I thought that would help increase the amount of revenue on the site. WRONG. Not only did it NOT increase it - it nearly sent the site into life support. A website without a constant, consistent updating comic will not keep an audience. And, my stuff isn't funny / good enough to warrant a huge fan-base for people to wait once a month.

"So, that's it? You're just doing this for money?"

No. Of course not. I did seriously enjoy working on the videos. They're a lot of work. But, I can't work on them every weekend or whatever. I do, however, have just about the same enjoyment, as working on sprite comics. These proved to be 1) funnier 2) consistent 3) constant and 4) Increase the revenue.

I'm not 100% sure but I think making my videos on a 3rd party host is what killed me. I'm almost positive if I made my videos hosted on only fireball20xl I would of seen better revenue. However, them being on youtube, I doubt people would of posted them / linked them anywhere.

My plan was, put them on youtube, and people would then come to the site. That was a dumb plan. What I think happened was that people would watch the videos, chuckle, then move on to something else - never even bothering with the website. Not only that, but they're long.

The comic formula is just a better formula. They're quick. They have a joke in them all the time. There's a lot of them. Go at your own pace. And, best of all, they're exclusive to one and one place alone, my website.

So, I'm sorry to say I probably won't be doing videos anymore as for the reasons listed above. I'm sorry if this is disappointing to you but I hope you'll continue to stay in your seats on the Psy roller coaster of medium choices.

I'm usually working on something - but I bounce around from thing to thing to thing trying to find a good balance of time-spent / enjoyment / and return. And, I'm sorry for that. But, I thank you for your patience.
