Taken in July on my trip with my dad. The girl holding the rose is my cousin. She's 3 years old. She picked one of my aunt's roses and wanted to show it to me (she wanted me to take a picture of it) She was a little ham. She posed for the camera for like 15 minutes. My cousin (her mom) was amazed because she could not get her to do that for the Photographer when she took her to get her picture taken!

its beautiful. but you know what makes it more interesting.. its the way the child is holding the rose. i mean her hands are'nt in focus yet they seem as the focal point. i mean when i first saw the photograph thats where my eyes went. its totally odd. yet unique. not many pictures can have such a quality. her soft hair in the background makes me wanna visualize how she might look and that makes her all the more adorable. to me this photograph is more about the person then about the flower.
