This is a page from a book I was inking for Zenescope Entertainment back in June and July 2007. The publishing date is unknown at this time.
These pages were inked in June-July 2007. At the time I was a brush inker but quickly found myself using 99.9% crowquill on this particular penciler, and my job was to translate certain parts of the penciler's greyscale rendering (shading) into basic hatching which the colourist could then apply rendered colouring to. I felt I was out of my depth but did the best I could to learn on the fly.
The book is The Chronicles of Dr. Herbert West #1 (formerly Re-Animator #1) and is a comic book adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft story. It was penciled by Jason Craig, inked by myself, and colored by Thomas Mason.

Looks fantastic. The line width makes it pop out really well and so do the dropped shadows, especially on the door from the arm in the second to last panel.
