Milhouse in "Little Orphan Millie"

Milhouse as seen in the episode "Little Oprhan Millie". GOD I love that episode It immediately became my all-time favourite episode of the Simpsons

I dunno where to start! I loved the episode for various reasons. Milhouse's parents got re-married! Unfortunately, they were lost at sea. That's when Milhouse decided to change his ways and become a man.

He was totally emo, I think But, he was so cool with his "I'm numb, I take care of myself"-attitude. Everyone loved him. Especially Lisa! I'm always so thrilled about seeing some action between Lisa and Millie But, when Lisa held his hand and told with passionate voice how poetic he was, he said "I always wanted you to hold my hand, Lisa, and now that you do, I'm too numb to feel anything" Oooh

Argh, the writer of this episode, quit stealing my emo-thoughts

Also, we met Milhouse's uncle Norbert Van Houten (one of the "better", Danish Van Houtens)and... OMG he was based on Indiana Jones! My favourite actor is Harrison Ford, and I adore the Indiana Jones-movies! The perfectness of this episode had been if Harrison Ford had done Norbert's voice, but no such luck :/

Absolutely the funniest and most shocking moment in the episode was Bart's "confession"... Here's the whole dialogue (and yes, I almost remember this by heart )
Bart: Lise, I don't get it, why does Milhouse's happiness make me sad?
Lisa: Bart, Bart, Bart, you're worried you're losing Milhouse, and love is a selfish thing.
Bart: Shut up! I don't love Milhouse!
Lisa: Oh really? The more you deny it, the more I know it's true!
Bart: Oh yeah? Well when you're mean I'm a trampoline so everything you say goes back and hits your ugly head!
Lisa: BWAHAHHAHAH God, that was LAME! Where'd you get that?
Bart: From Milhouse! *weeps* I love him so much!!

ANYWAYS, now to the art itself If I had the time, energy and skills, I'd draw ALL the frames from this wonderful episode... But I just picked one. This is the first appearance of the new, mature Milhouse. He stood in the shadow of the tree when a marble rolled to him. Everyone wondered who the loner was until he threw the marble back to it's owner (Martin), stepping out of the shadows for a brief moment. I halted the screen here and drew it.
At first I was just gonna draw Milhouse and colour the pic with Photoshop, but I decided to draw the background as well, for once. So, I drew this with pencil, then inked and finally coloured with Photoshop, using as close colours to the original ones as I could.
