This week we were given a two week deadline to create a corner based inner city hotel in 5-6k polys with a two week period to do it in.
I did this in 4960 polys and a long night's work.

If this wasn't a hotel, this would also make a great 'Empty Building' to 'randomly' blow things to bits in.
Li Says:
I love how detailed you can make it. I've worked 3d objects before building from simple shapes, and it wasn't easy for me.

Pretty nice model here! Can I see the wire?
Rubbercookie Says:
Nice work. I sounds like you're a bit ahead of the course when you do in one night's work what you have two weeks to do.
Then again, it sometimes takes some time before you manage to really sit down for a longer period of work.
Btw, how do you go about adding detail to surfaces?
When I made Samus' helmet I spent hours upon hours moving vertices trying to add the increments and the visor gap, but ultimately failed to do so.

NEED MORE POLYS, BOY!
Very nice, as usual.
That's phenominal, I love how it's simple and detailed all at once
Daaayyumm you better get a good mark on this!

If i ever was a building, that's what i'd like to look like! pwnage dude!!
Prototype Says:
Really nice. Is the back end completely modeled?
