Sailorcancer

Upon opening my failed Eternal Darkness contest...I've realized that I have next to no good, up-to-date references of the Zodiac Senshi (Eudail, Darksaturn and the Evil Senshi yeah). So, I've decided to make some nice, full-bodied CGs of my lovely girls so people will get a better idea of what's going on And so I'll feel better when people ask me for good references. Yey

I've been working on this on and off for probably a month now. The lineart was a pain in the ass to do (I hate doing her rings!), and the original image was VERY large. Not to mention the details on Cancer's fuku. Then, the whole costuming thing smacked me upside the head, so I colored whenever I wasn't braindead. I finally finished it tonight. Yey

Overall...damn! The drawing, itself, I am fairly proud of; I love how I shaded things, and the hair is nice. The ONLY thing I don't like about the art is the sphere...or rather, what's inside. I can't draw fire (or energy) to save my life, so I just used some cheap filters. But, this is the first image I've done that somewhat accurately portrays what her sphere is supposed to look like; like swirling energy/fire caught in a glass ball. She's also not quite as chubby as she should be (not that Enala is going to complain!) and a bit longer. Oh well.

I kept trying to make a nice, spacey background to go with the planets I made. One is suposed to be Luna...the other is just something random and blue. Maybe the origin of her Sailor Crystal?

The rest of the Spacey stuff I found at the ever-awesome Hubble Site ( http://hubblesite.org/ ) and fiddled around with layer styles and colors. The sunset is a stock photo I got from a Deviant stock page ( http://tigg-stock.deviantart.com/art/Autumn-Sky-Stock-35-68995980 ).
