I saw the musical Swing with my English/social studies class and it made me want to draw one of my characters in a vest. And pinstriped pants. cx Stefka was my victim obviously - he turned out looking like an unfortunate mix of some pseudo-preppy goth and a member of a Japanese boy band. He would probably never dress like this roflmao
Anyway, here's some uninteresting explanations (tl;dr). Stefka's supposed to be a bit older in this one (20-21?); the speckles on his arms/legs/face/ears are from age spots appearing on the skin underneath his fur (they're kinda like a mix of freckles and liver spots). And his beardy thingy has taken up the color of his hair, which also comes with age in his species. The patch of black around his eyes (no it's not eyeshadow Dx) is another age thingum - it comes from recessive genes on his mom's side, and is used by his species to help keep the sun out of their eyes (like a meerkat lD).
Both of these things are just aspects of his design changing over time in his storyline; they aren't present in younger Stefka's design. :3

The creature in the back reminds me of a huge zombie lizard or something. Which is cool.

Wow, liver spots at age twenty...looks good on him though
At first, I thought the red eye looked out of place with shading, where as the shadow itself had none. But the more I stare at it, it becomes a more interesting contrast
