For once while drawing i thought of a small description... T'is some kind of bird delivering letters like the old doves used to do... only this bird does not need any written messege but saves the words in his memory and the long hair on his beak will form and write the letter at the receiver. His eyes glow when creating the letter, and there's some light orbs on the small pieces of armour on his head and neck...

For the text on the scroll I decided to get the older feel to it and use two sayings of a list in Latin which I've got written down for some time now. The first is Sum Quad eris which means; I am what you shall be ... and then Requiescat in pace; RIP

Nice concept - very imaginative idea. Nice use of a limited palette. Is that completely monochrome? Or does it use a couple of very similar colours?
