This be a blast from the past...snuffy smith, gabby, felix the cat, heckle and jeckle...ALL animations classics and your interpretation of that style still brings about a nostalgic feeling and amosphere about it...back when animators were only making $5.00 an hour and the hours were long...a young man with a big heart and a huge imagination set about to create a kingdom of epic proportions and brought with him in his journey such memoriable characters that still to this delight and entertain us and have inspired even japanese animation and ideas.
This pays proper homage to that bygone era of animation that to this day seems to have been forgotten by those who grew up with it....sadly it is a forgotten style that has been replaced by modern techonogies...which is why I find myself stil raptured by shows like the old transformers, G I Joe, Visionaries and gummy bears to this very day and will still love them for the hard work put into them by those who loved the style of art that still to this day lives on in the next generation of flash animator, story book writers and independant animation companies.
I salute you my good sir....
Nay I thought that people had all but forgotten the TRUE animation and style that brought to life and to our lives...Movies, stories and characters that have ALL left a giant impact on us
In the words of my fave show Biker mice from mars
"Ride Free Citizen"
Thanks for this little trip back to simpler times man
it almost brings a tear to these old eyes to know someone out there feels the same about animation as I do.
