I'm trying to get better at inconspicuous symbolism. As in, have one thing, that seems like it's only a BG object of piece of clothing, represent a character or scenario. The concept was to show Vielle with one of her friends. As in, he's always with her, even if he's not there. Once the comic comes out you'll see what all of this means. Anyway, artistic meanings aside, I really enjoyed working on this. The flowers were all made by hand and the clouds were created for the first time with the Paintbrush tool set to low opacity. Ah, layering colors is fun.

Vielle looks so sweet too. I'm trying my hardest to capture her 'innocence' as a person. She's cute, kind, and super goofy, and I hope that shows in art I do of her.

The colors you used are absolutely wonderful - even the bright pink of her face, though was that part of the symbolism? I dunno. Regardless, it looks very nice.

And you actually managed to make those shoes look not goofy. Even real people can't do that! Nice work.

I'm pretty sure you know this already, but that is something extremely amazing. I really like the background, and especially the clouds. You made them look so real.(I am always lazy with the backgrounds so that usually is the thing which I appreciate most.)

This one has a great idea too. And the shading is just awesome. Gooooooood.

I think you did an amazing job. YOu really captured a fun loving sort of personality with her expession, the bright colors, and her pose. The flowers are wonderful and so are the clouds. You did a great job ne? ^^ I really love that she isn't anorexic skinny too ^^ She looks very believable and very pretty too.

This is beautiful. I love the colors of not just the flowers, but the lineart and the girl. You're shading is simply marvelous. The pants look very real, as do the flowers and the leaves. Definitely gets a ourite from me. ^___^ Keep up the great work.
