Chapter 3
Zeros had just finished his drink when all went quiet as soon as he heard an explosion from the direction of lute Galen Nephtys had started crying “I knew this would happen” she wailed as he hugged her, calming her down. He learnt that it was a mad world and there was no going back now. So our hero and his new friend travelled a long way to find the entrance to the pyramid of pharaoh dalasi for the grim reaper, a Great War scythe with the power to resurrect one person. They entered the pyramid only to find the demons of the underworld guarding the whole place, dead bodies every where, half eaten as well. “You ready?” he said to her as the dim light shined on her beautiful face so she simply nodded and they ran down the stairs slashing each and every creature in half. Of course now was the time to run as a giant bug-like demon, one of the lesser evils, speed after them, the two of them ended up in a dark, dank room filled with green slime. As the creature drew nearer it was revealed to be Duriel. His head was a small pointy teethed rhino head, his arms were like scythes and his body was like a spider’s abdomen. Zeros, who was ready for battle, decided “today is a good day to die” well that’s what he thought until he got hit by Duriel, as he distracted the beast. Nephtys attacked the beast from behind then with a last resort she had a vision of her old master “don’t be afraid to use the hurricane spinning slash” the master said as his voice remained in her mind.
She called him “OI COCKROACH, HAVE A LOOK AT THIS” as she used her special attack. The beast was now ash formerly known as Duriel. As the ash fell to the floor so did the scythe she wanted so Zeros picked it up “here I think this should be yours so keep it” but still as soon as they got out of the pyramid it just collapsed and then nothing, so she had finally asked him “do you believe in love” so he nodded and then she asked him if he loved her and he again nodded so after a long night, they set off for the next piece of the key. Little was known about her past but Nephtys believed one thing and that was Zeros is the one.
