A straightforward comparison of how I painted seven years ago with how I paint today. What you're looking at were some of the very first models I ever painted. The models on the left actually are painted - I never primed them, and gave each color only one coat of paint. There were no highlights, not even a wash. I think it's astounding when I look at my old models to see just how far I've come. Back then, the models on the left were really good. Now, they're garbage.
