acrylics on 30x40 cm canvas board
This is a birthday gift for my older brother, who turned 29 recently. I had to do this in a hurry, due to two recent trips that took me away from my painting materials for almost two weeks. I tried to keep it very expressive and abstract. I'm not entirely satisfied with the lip portion and the left eye, but things like nose, hair and shirt work out just fine.

I really like how you did those brush strokes on the right side, they remind me of birds. And if you then consider the picture as a whole, the whole bird thing really goes towards adding a deeper feeling of emotion to the work. Nice job!
