It's worth noting that Nexus does indeed have life outside of the X-Fandom. This is an image for precisely that. Kayo at Club Romulus, a highbrow but low-key Feral-catering Miami based club; one of the various (as well as one of the more legitimate) business ventures her biological father, Simon Valkyrie, has his hands in. Simon's the fellow up on the balcony there. Inspired wholly by Rabbit in the Moon's cover of "Lets Dance" by David Bowie, from their new Decade album. I cannot get that song out of my head. O_o

Woah, cool, I like the strong hip turning motion.. Sass! It's great to see just lineart.. totally fantaz-mo! Woah, and the chains being thrown out, I've actually been working on a picture similar to that, but they're all these little keys. But that's so cool to see it on here. I love how well her arms are made, so nimble and yet the pose is strong Woo!

I like her hat.

Do you mind if I colour her? Just for practice, I won't post it or anything.
It just doesn't feel right to randomly colour things without permission. xD

Ren52 Says:

Woot! The first thing that caught my eye here is her big loop pendant. I LOVE IT. I don't know why it magnetically attracted me like that, but it did. I am diggin' that necklace. Kayo style FTW! Her belt and shirt and everything are all also equally cool. *plays with the dangly shiny things*

The sense of motion here is great, I can practically hear the techno music pounding away! The lights and perspective make the place seem huge. Go Simon! OWN THAT CLUB!

Yay for new Nexus stuff!! Is it wrong that I like the new version of the story/characters much better than the old Marvel-ized stuff? I liked both, but this new stuff, dude, it just rocks.
