I'm posting this as "completed" because I'm unsure when I'll actually get around to coloring it. As it stands, this IS a completed, black and white, line art piece.
Kasbeel in full battle-seraphic glory (not that he ever fights). And before anyone says anything, the wings are stylized for this picture, hence why they aren't huge. However, his anatomy is some of the best I've ever drawn and considering how many references I had out (6 open at one time), it should be.
This was drawn and inked on 7"x16"(-ish), heavy-duty card stock. Inked with ink and a small brush, initial cleanup done with white watercolor paint, post-ready cleanup done in Photoshop.
Comments, crits, etc. encouraged.

Gah, I can't BELIEVE no one's commented on this yet!
Then again, I'm a bit biased.
*glomps and drags Kasey away.*

Absolutely gorgeous character design, there are so many details that I like and I like that you chose to position the head lifted up a bit than looking straight on, it adds more to knowing the character's personality. You did very well with the figure and posing it( yea, if I use up to six references, I would want it to look pretty dang good). I also like how you have the whip and his hair flowing in the image to give a sense of weightlessness. I knows yall do a good job with finishing it up. I think the wings work fine, but hey, nothin wrong with going larger.
