Asbeel (left) and Kasbeel (right), the Realm-chained twins in Amy K. Cyrway's and my novel "Apocrypha". I can't even remember why I started drawing this one, but it became an experiment in color and blending. Kasbeel's outfit alone has about six or seven different pastel shades layered together, something more visible on the original. The wings especially have at least 6 different colors each, including blues and greens to accent the grey. Though the majority of the coloring was done with colored pencil, there is a layer of marker under everything.
I really wish I could understand why I can draw multiple poses in this style and not my more "serious" one.
