Blast From The Past, Picture #2: Jake Clawson

8 years ago, Jake was a newbie in the Enforcer Academy, leaving everything that he knew in Barrington at age 17 to be thrown into the bussle of MegaKat City; needless to say, he was more than nervous of being so far away from those he knew and loved, especially Marianne, the girl that he loved that had warned him that leaving would mean their demise... But, he had done so anyway, also letting a his little sister down by breaking his promise of attending her 9th birthday. Jake stayed to himself at first, depending on his books and his martial arts training to not only keep him company, but to keep him out of trouble. Then, he was introduced to his partner, Chance Furlong, a kat that had already went through 3 other gunmen that month alone; but, something about this kat was different than the others... The expert pilot put Clawson through his own test, which broke almost ever rule enstated in the Enforcer's Handbook, and even he was shocked to see how unnerved the rookie was to his wreckless skills. Seeing how determined Jake was, along with his perfect aim behind the seat of the gun, Chance took him under his wing, the two soon becoming the best of friends. Jake took the heat alongside Chance, when it would completely be the Tabby's fault, in which he would always complain, "Aw, Jake! When are you gonna grow a backbone to stand up to that wind bag, Feral?! He thinks that you're responsible as well, and trust me, Feral's one of those people you DON'T want as an enemy."

But he always shook off his two cents, replying, "Hey, if I can take you, I can take on the world, pal!"

Jake may be more timid at first, but he can take care of himself; he's very intellegent, and knows every little detail of multiple sources of technology, from his toaster to every Enforcer jet in the hangar. Though he enjoys to do leisure activities, such as read and study blue prints, he takes Chance up on his offers of tequilla every now and then. Other than those few times, Jake distances himself from alcohol.

Jake is supporting 90's threads [well, the best I could draw, anyway... ]... Notice the "Radical" on his shirt?... 90's love there, baby.

So, what's different between the 17 year old version and the 25 year old version?... Lots. First off, appearance; Jake supports a hat, and his hair is longer than usual, poking out from the open part of his cap. Clothes are definitely different, and look, ma! No rugged beard, as he has in my older version! He looks a lot younger, in my opinion. ^^ Personality wise, this version is a lot shyer, and he likes to drink every now and then [he will eventually drop the habit, unlike Chance, who still drinks to this day, only in a LOT smaller portions.]
