I'm fairly positive that if you lopped off the entire top half of a tree (and turned it into a pondering spot for xweetok-squirrel emo boys), it wouldn't be too keen on growing new leaves. And if it did grow leaves (which this one has somehow done), it should watch out for stray tigermice. Because I'm also pretty sure that Insurgent is about to munch on this poor tree's feeble efforts.
(And after trying it myself, I agree it would be really, really hard to sit that way. But... I'm lazy and didn't want to redraw his legs. :0)
