Basic design for a stock starfighter for my Time Corp universe. The concept is that while these are slightly outdated at first, they are upgraded substantially as time goes by.
The stock Striker is already a pretty tough craft, able to reach .95 of lightspeed, enter and leave a planetary atmosphere unaided, and take a good amount of punishment while remaining manueverable.
Shortly after these were built the emphasis on fightercraft shifted to specific-use instead of general-purpose. While not the best machine for certain jobs, it remains one of the best for flexible situations.
