This is a souvenir spyglass I purchased for around $75 from the USS Constitution gift shop.
My father was requested to say a prayer on the USS Constitution while it went out for a short sail. Most of the people on the boat were tourists and such. I asked my father if I could join him for the cruise and take pictures and stuff, and he was happy to bring me along. Afterward, we went to the gift shop because I wanted to buy a really nice, expensive souvenir to remember this by. What better than this frickin' sweet spyglass?
I took the picture on my dining room table because I thought the light shining on the wood was perfect. I forgot to move the chair just over the picture so you can see it's shadow, and if you look close enough at the lens you can see my elbow. Oh well.
