This is my favorite dinosaur, a theropod called Oviraptor philoceratops, though those only even vaguely interested in dinosaurs have probably heard of it. I couldn't resist giving it some color, though if I had more of an attention span I would have added more patterning. Blargh. A friend also kindly pointed out that the markings on the crest look like holes, so, just so you know, they're not holes.

Anyway, if it looks unfinished, that's because it is and I don't think I will continue it, in fact, the only thing I'd dare call finished would be the upper portion of the head.

But still, compare this to the Oviraptor in my gallery from a year before. I dare say I've improved.

Another oC doodle that shouldn't have taken so long...

Gimme your skills Paru! D: Just kidding But I love all the textures you have here! You made the beak look so real and the gums have such great depth and detail. I can see veins! (Or arteries, I never can tell the difference). If only I have the patience for realism. s for yoooou!
