yes, believe it or not, this is a girl. Her name is Jacky (or Mary) Faber from the acclaimed book series Bloody Jack. I'm not going to ruin the story for you. all i am going to say is that she is swinging from a rope attached to the mast of a british warship in the 1800's (oh, and she's pretending to be a boy). i dont know if there really are ropes on masts (i know basically nothing about ships) but in this pic, there are, so deal with it. oh, the reason she's not "filled out" like a girl is because she is only about 12 or 13 years old and has always been small for her age.
anyways, read the books because they are amazing. i think there are 5 out now, and the 6th is coming out next year (yeee!!!). just read them.
