yes, the title contradicts the art? ... or rather, I am a very self-contradicting person ... SO YEHY 8D wait 8D it just doesn't make any sense that's all |||OTL ;;;; .. and oh yes! I am VERY into watermarking my shyts 8DDD

... this was actually done a month ago in two day's time;; ... but I wasn't satisfied so I left it alone 'till now and picked it up again xD .... I only did some editings here and there .... and added in the background sky; the clouds&stars (the moon was already done a month ago xD; ) I also redrew the girl's outline so she didn't look as "confined" in the black line that I sketched her into;; ... she didn't "blend in" with her surroundings too well with the black lineart.... I also re-painted parts of my ghey tree/bushes/greeneries;; it looked stupid the first time around, and it still looks stupid |||ORZ;;; and then I just finally gave up on the greeneries >xDDD hehhh!!

I used absolutely NO tutorial on this piece o___o .... *finds it amazing* ;; since alot of things in here are my "first time" trying it ... nevertheless, I've never really done "backgrounds" e___e;; this was done completely based on my instincts and my ... previously learned... skills? which isn`t much;; so I experimented around on here alot.... BUT MOST OF THE PART WAS JUST SLAPPING ON COLOURS 8DDD I am so proud of my clouds *___* THEY ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE CLOUDS! |||OTL ... the moon looks "so-so" ;; but at least, you can tell it's a.... moon? :'33 HEHHH..... ... I didn't use any references sooo... some things are like ghey and off;; HAHAAA *retarded* ;; ... I actually drew this .. lake... grassy... thing... once before, in an oekaki with a friend. I was feeling really down that day .___. so my friend Pchatted with me :'33 and she didn't try to BS like everyone else did with the "AW, WHAT'S WRONG? OH, IT'LL BE ALRIGHT. I'M SO SORRY!!1!1!11" - I seriously hate that kinda bullshyt *hehee* ... she just simply stayed by my side ... sometimes, it just makes you feel better when people don't say anything and just "be there" for you....

So it's become a special place in my heart not :'33 ... (originally, there's no ghey plank thing like the one that the girl is sitting on >xD ... but I REALLY wanted to draw her legs swallowed by the water like that 8D sooo....) ........ I actually had a hard time trying to decide how to approach this "challenge" -rofl- ...! e___e;; 'cause I wanted to draw THIS lake that has a special meaning to me... BUT THEN I also wanted to draw the lake that you get a peek of it in the "Kisetsu" comic that I was doing http://www.sheezyart.com/view/1136565/ 8D...... and use tones on it x___x;; .... somehow, I ended with this lake instead HAH 8D ........


Oh yes, the girl has a name, Ellis -- she's the/an emo girl that wears a yellow dress-big-sweater-thing o 3o ... :hints:

... and well. yes. proportionally, this picture is pretty damn off > 'cause Ellis is 'too big' compared to the rest of her surroundings x___x;; BUT THAT'S OKAY. I had my share of the fun already ||| ...~ ... annnnd never in hell am I ever want to do backgrounds ever again LOL;;;;; *fails* HAHAAA e___e although, I still wish to, someday, draw this lake again ;3....!!
