Um, yeah not that great. I suck at traditionally painting, then again I've hardly ever painted seriously like this, so I guess it's okay for only a few tries at painting. I made a mistake in how I did the grass first, but I made it have some texture, so it dried a bit bumpy, and dumb me realized that since I was planning to paint over the very background, some parts, like the fountain and path, were going to be bumpy...but oh well. I continued with it anyway because there was no way to fix it. It's still not bad despite that, I guess. It's at least close enough to the sketch I made before I painted it (I painted without lines). The hands look horrid, but when I attempted to fix them I just kept making them worse, so I left them alone. The water from the fountain bothers me a lot...because I messed up first, so I painted over it and did it again, and it does look better than the first time, so I guess it's alright. Oh well, no more time to fix it.
This is one of the art projects for AP Drawing. I need to do five, technically at this size. I only have four canvases of this size, so one is just going to have to be smaller. However...I only have a couple days...namely today and tomorrow and maybe Tuesday. Oh well, I already started and hope to finish the second one today, that ones a bit simpler so it should take as long as this one did.
