Whoopsy Doodles

Cartoon violence is fuuuuun.

I apologise for the shortness of this animation. But it took long enough to make as it is! Plus, I ran out of ideas and couldn't think of what should happen next.

And that's why you should always make a storyboard first!!

The making of: The character sketches were done in Flash, and then the cartoon drawings were traced over the top of these and the sketches were then deleted. At this point, Scrawffler had no eyes. Next, I exported each frame as a separate picture file and then one by one put them into Photoshop where I added some very simple shading. Simple enough, but took a while since I had to do each frame separately. All the shaded frames were then imported back into Flash. I went back onto Photoshop and drew a detailed eye. I then imported two of these into Flash and used them as Scrawffler's eyes (so I only had to draw them once!). Then I found a background I drew a while back for something else and put that in (the background was also drawn in Flash and shaded in Photoshop). And there you have it.

All that for 2 seconds of animation.
