Seifer Commission: Part The Second

So much has changed since the days of Red and Blue. I FEEL SO OLD.

Second commission for Seifer. This was originally reflected, according to him, on the current Pokemon League he has going for Diamond and Pearl, but with the exclusion of a character, replacing him with the Chikorita...well, I guess Seif has that answer. BUT NEVERTHELESS, I guess with all the Battle Revolution or whatever it's called going on, it's timed rather well, especially from the likes of me.

As I told him when he passed me his character redesign (or Pokemon getup, I dunno), I'm quite happy myself that he ditched the broomstick hairdo for what he's rocking now. Lord only knows if he's still got it going on under the hat, though. SPROOOOOING.

I'm sorry, but as I was coloring Anubi's (the jackal dude who's a Flying type Gym Leader) accent, Michael Jackson's "Remember The Time" popped into my head. I'm kinda sorry that you can't see his smirk, it kinda made him look arrogant instead of evil, although in some cases, they go hand in hand? :/

Dani, the female there, is a Steel type Gym Leader. With everyone else having rather stationary poses, if I had to give 'em all one, I'd crack. Ih her ref, though it coulda been just the way Seifer drew her, she seemed rather...flexible. While I had the right idea in mind for the initial pose, That left leg really bothers the CRAP out of me now. Plus, she looks longer if she stood straight up than the dude behind her, which we'll get to now.

DD, the Poison type Gym Leader. Apparently he and Dani are an item, which is why I'm bothered by her length, or rather, his. I did some measuring and she LOOKS to be about the same height, but I may be wrong. ANYHOW, back to DD. I was told to give him a New Goblin-esque look with a Poison motif...which works since I liked the New Goblin. At sketching stages, Seifer decided to axe the gas mask he was wearing for a pair of shades, which certainly helped to differentiate a bit from the Goblin design, although given the gas tanks he's wearing and the sickly yellowish green accessories, he looks like a Frogman from Hell...though I guess that works, since the New Goblin is the Paintballer from Hell. Ah well, can't win 'em all.

I think the WtW logo came out rushed and the background may have been a copout since I effect'd a screenshot from one of Seif's YouTube Battle Revolution reports, but with a little ingenuity, I think I turned it around to be a little acceptable. Kinda has a "Saturday Night's Main Event" feel to it.
