First things first: SAMURAIGURL FAILS AT DRAWING ZANGETSU, KTHNAI.
'mkay? I seriously smacked myself upside the head the whole time I was sketching him out. He's probably the hardest freaking dude in the world to draw. Or maybe I just fail at drawing older looking people >___>

About the pose--I didn't realise until after I had already finished the sketch that EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS uses this scene in Bleach related fanart. (The "BAN--KAI!" scene from the final battle between Ichigo and Hichigo, while Ichigo trains with the Vizards) So...yeah. I fail again -___-;;

I also used heavy reference on Ichigo and Hichigo, because I fail at side view. (Its mostly the face outline, the rest I free handed for the most part)

Zangestu is 95% free hand, 5% shameless "I-was-staring-at-reference-the-whole-time".

Wow. I fail a lot, don't I?
