Wow, it has been quite a while since I've submitted something, hasn't it? I apologize for being somewhat inactive, school finally starting has been a bit crazy to manage. Anyways...

This is the first in what I hope to be a series of tracks in which I take music from Video Games and rearrange the pieces for orchestra. So, I was listening to the mp3 of the ending of Metroid for the NES and I thought it would be fun to arrange. Well, lo and behold, I've done it. I think it's quite appropriate since the new Metroid game is due in a few weeks. Anyways, enjoy and please, feel free to comment as you please.

I like the sound of this - the swell at the end is the best bit :)

I can't compare it to the original because I never really got very far in playing it or any of the series... I know it's traitorous to classic gaming roots, but I honestly found them all rather dull. (I never grew up with them, though, as I was a DOS-game person, so perhaps it's the lack of nostalgia associated with them that does it.)
