Charcoal on watercolor paper.
Final assignment for Drawing I, which I took the spring semester of my Freshman year (2006-2007 school year).
Pardon the bad photograph; I don't have a camera and had to borrow my mom's, which is old and a pain. The actual drawing isn't sepia-toned, but this is how the photo came out, and I decided I like it this way.
Approx time: 20 hours.
Approx size: 20" (width) x 24 (height)"

Excellent work on the textures and depth of this piece.
The folds in the drapery reflect both the weight and style of material which is incredible in itself, then coupled with the reflection of the light from the glass and indeed the distortion of the lace behind it brings this to be an amazingly well drawn piece. The sepia tone suits this and the level of detail is staggering, such use of contrast as well makes this a feast for the eyes so to say with so much to be seen on all sides. Once again excellent work with this, a rare talent to be had with traditional media. Keep up the good work!!
