I have been working on this since about 2-ish. Sketched it out and such then took it outside and colored it all in watercolors. I messed up on the top right bird. It's a bit too yellow, but the others are correctly colored. Some are a little off anatomy wise, but I think I did fairly well otherwise. After watercolors I went over bits and pieces with colored pencil.
Top left: Stormy the father bird. He's a Tangerine Ringneck.
Top right: Eggnog the mother bird. She's an Orange Ringneck.
Bottom left: Fawkes the child. Is a Fawn/Blond Ringneck.
Bottom right: Twilight the child. Is either an Orange or Orange Pearl Ringneck.

oooo very well drawn! I like the pin point light spots on the eyes. It is really balanced and has an invisible border to it by the placement of the birds. I like it. It is comforting and charming to look at

I love this, you're one of those fortunate people who can actually make birds look like their species rather than a generic ball of feathers with some colors slapped on labeled as a species. It's really nice. X3
