My drawin' style for humans I developed at an amazing short notice, so I drew myself for practice.

I think my only issue with this picture are the hands and arms. The hands seem way too small and chubby for a girl that seems to be almost fully grown ; Especially if the face is that long. Rule of thumb that might help with hand length (at least for girls) : The hand (from bottom of palm to tip of middle finger) covers about the same distance as from your chin to right above your brow ridge.

Just put your hand on your face and try it. Make sure the palm bottom is in line with the chin, but don't cover your nose (nose bump will mess you up). Cover your cheeks instead.

As for the arms, another basic anatomy rule would be that: Elbow in line with the waist, and have hands fall in the middle of the thigh (again, you can do this yourself and see in the mirror).

All that stuff wasn't just made up by me by the way, those are pretty basic rules in all those how to books too (<---been studying medical school anatomy books lately)

That's all. I love the rest of the body though, I never liked stick thin bodies like in some animes. Curvys were always a lot prettier. Everything else is just right. Even the boobs are in the right place and shape (<--sucks big time at boobs).

WhiteFoxDK Says:

ah, sorry bout the long comment ; Didn't realized I went overboard, don't feel bad or anything, I'm not trying to criticize your drawings.

I just have a tendency to talk a WEE bit too much
