blood magic

Hello Mr.Lensflare... now there's an effect I've not used on a picture for years Unfortunately it does rather get in the way of the blood.

Part of his curse means Blackjack can't cast magic like he could if he were still a dragon - the only way he can access his arcane powers is through using his blood as a conduit for the magic (hence why his palm's cut here), but it's a dangerous practice, not in the least because it causes enormous pain and internal haemorrhaging to the user.


(ps. sorry I've not been too commenty lately, but I've been either sorting stuff for Dragon*con or drawing!).
