Well, what can I say? It was a picture for a competition with the theme "Japan" which needed to include the characters Aiko and Yuki (c) Animexx. I didn't win, of course... ~

I wanted to depict the relationship between modernism and traditon since I think that both belong close together to Japan. This was supposed to come across through the behaviour, appearance and gadgets. I am not going to descibe everything in detail but what I wrote was my basic idea for the piece.
