Wolf of White
Wolf of white, wolf of white
Where dost thou dwell this winter night?
In a den with snow and chill?
Near a fire that burns on still?
Dost thou hunt for food and drink
Or dost thou sit to rest and think?
Wolf that runs, wolf that runs
Under many moons and suns
What pursues thee with ill intent?
Is it mortal or Satan sent?
Soon you may stop to sleep and sigh
Shelter and safety will soon by nigh
Wolf with wings, wolf with wings
Can thy hear the wind that sings?
Its song of danger and dismay
Will keep thy hunters far at bay
So thee may safely slumber long
Deadly demons can deal thee no wrong
Wolf that sleeps, wolf that sleeps
May thy goddess thy soul keep
It’s hours and hours before thee must wake
Time slows for the weary wolf’s sake
So thee, white wolf, can rest tonight
Sleeping in snow, angelic and white
