Edit: Put about another hour into tinkering with this based on various critiques - worked on highlights (Toned down) and Grimm's front paws. (Which were wonky from the get go, but looked even weirder in color) The only thing that hasn't changed is Apache's jaws, as I like them the way they are.

Going to have to call this 'done' now though, as I'm to that tired-of-lookin-at-it point! lol.
Fullview Please. The thumbnail killed it.
Initial lineart done in a hospital waiting room Thursday. (You can find it in my Scraps folder over at DA) Tossed it into photoshop over the weekend and it took on a life of its own

Grimm taking her little gal Apache in a nighttime sprint through the woods.

Lol and see this is why you will never appear on Encyclopedia Dramatica. You actually take critique and run with it versus having an anurism about it. Front paws look much better now -thumbs up-

The lighting is really great and i love the combination of colors on your characters. Well I see you've mentioned the paws and the pup's jaws, but those are minor aspects of the picture. Haha the pup looks so excited to run around! I really love her paws.

The lighting is gorgeous, so is the carefree mood and the emotions between the two...they are so cute and happy. Great work!

OMG that night sky is just gorgeous. What a delicious blend of reds and purples (in your FACE, Magneto!). I lovelovelove when you draw Matihao Whenua pics with full backgrounds like this, 'cause it really gives me a great sense of what their environment and home looks like. Very inspiring! (I wanna go swimmin' in that lake. OH YES.)

Love the lighting, you're really challenging yourself with these pieces! The run looks like lots of fun and I'm sure Apache agrees.
