Nohatu and Teir

"After hearing word of possible betrayal, the pride leaders were forced to banish Nohatu, one of their mightiest warriors known to cub and elder alike. The idea of forcing such a warrior out of the pride was likely to cause a riot amongst its members, thus it was kept a secret. Nohatu hunted with what he'd come to call his family for the last time, then whilst they feasted, he silently took his leave that same dark, cold night. Walking along the path that would lead him back to the road he'd thought he'd abandoned long ago, his ear twitched and fell behind him, catching the sounds of young paws. One of the pride's most rebellious cubs, Teir, had decided to accompany Nohatu, unaware of the warrior's banishment and journey that lay ahead of him. Nohatu watched as the cub met his side, small smile being forced upon aged lips. The cub, sensing something was troubling his hero/idol, remained silent throughout the duration of the walk, though tried to encourage the elder male with his own weak smile. No words were exchanged between the two, even when the dirt path ended and cold grass field began, marking the end of the pride's territory. Nohatu left the path and entered the chilly grasses of the field, yet the cub had stopped some paces ago, knowing he could journey no further. Unable to find the right words, the young male watched as Nohatu carried on. Would they ever meet again...?"

Hmm. The large sabre-looking cat is Nohatu, a REALLY old char of mine from like, 2001. The little male is Teir. Umm. I haven't decided if Teir is Nohatu's son or not, so. I'm not sure what inspired this picture. I guess I just wanted to make something feline-ish and on the computer. PLUS I miss making random feline/canine characters with crazy markings, like back in my old RP days. Sooo. Yes, A little piece of Nohatu's story and a piece that wasn't supposed to take as long as it did. x_x

One other thing...the background sucks, I know, but I don't do them often and am not very good at making them. ::death:: Umm...yes, I'll finish it some day.

And yes, this isn't done. o_O; I still have a lot more to do, but I need sleep. x_x;
