After finishing the large painting, I felt a little burnt-out on the acrylics front and dug up my pastels again - that has nothing to do with Icarus working in pastels atm, just a coincidence :)
I doodled around a little bit, and made this picture of Sartre enjoying a break from debating morons (aka "democratic leadership structure") thanks to the music player on his wrist computer. You can see a few different techniques: Draw, squiggle, highlight, smudge, overlay, feather. The main realization was that bigger would be easier (this one wasn't even A3), but it's still not too ugly.
Scanner is still broken, so this is a photograph. That's why the color is completely off.
