SSBM Comic #6

Sprite-wise, this is where I really started ad-libbing. After all, around the time, the only games in the Mario Advance series were SMB2 and Super Mario World. And considering the only Mario World sprite of the Marios I DO like is the Mario Advance 2 version of Luigi, I decided to do a bit of adlibbing. I took a sprite of Mario from Super Mario Advance, and for some reason, chose to give it raccoon powers. Which, looking back, I should've done with Luigi, since Mario's ->+B move is the Super Cape. If I DO continue it, which I still don't know if I will or not, I'll probably switch the bros. over to Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario 3 style.

But yes, once again, you get to see a general disdain for Mario. And also shows another part, my general hatred for the over-cutesy-fied Pokemon characters that tend to be seeping out. What's even more sad is, that if they marketed it right, Pokemon actually COULD appeal to all age groups, as I felt they shown with Colosseum. ...I had actually planned to toss in Mewtwo and Lugia, though.
