The sun is shining in my heart
A lot of times when I'm feeling blue I want to run away.
I want to run to my sandy sunny home and never look back.
But it wouldn't work.
It wouldn't have the same kind of sunlight it did before.
In times of doom
I think how much worse it could be.
In times of gloom
I look to the sun as it kisses my face.
It fills me with joy to know that one day my life will be completely mine.
No one will stop me from reaching my dreams.
I am the rainbow in the sky.
I am the sun that kisses your face.
I am the waves that roll up on the shore.
Better yet.
I am what I want to be.
