Bio: Redshift is a breath of fresh air in the scientific community on Cybertron: whereas most are stuffy, arogant, and downright pitiful in social interaction, Redshift is, outwardly, almost the polar opposite: Friendly, easygoing, and always ready with a joke to ease the stress so inherent in experimental research. While his joking is usually appreciated by his teammates, it can have the effect of distracting them from their work, and leave them feeling that Redshift doesn't pull his own weight. The truth of the matter is, Redshift is desperately trying to compensate for his immense social anxiety by keeping people from having a bad time. It gnaws at his spark when those around him seem unhappy, and he suspects that the reason for that might be him. His friends assure him otherwise, but this does little to change Redshift's behavior.

Abilities: Subject possesses incredible intelligence, and above-average strength and endurance. Transforms into a space telescope, capable of detecting and photographing planet-sized objects as far as 2 million light-years away. Subject can also use telescope assembly as a form of propulsion, and can travel the distance between stars in little time. Subject's telescope can re-arrange its internal mirrors to function as a space-based photon cannon, though firing this at full power is extremely draining of subject's energon supply. In robot mode, subject makes use of a gravitational lensing rifle that bends space around its target, causing it to either collapse in on itself or break apart at the atomic level. Subject can enhance the range and size of this effect by collecting extra power with the solar panels on his back.

Weaknesses: Subject's alternate mode is not usable in a planet's atmosphere. Subject's social anxiety can be paralyzing when he feels he isn't being entertaining enough.
