Hey guys, here's a game for the Rock Out contest, I tried to not use the overplayed 'play up' idea and make something different but still rythym-esque, I guess I tried.
It's a little complicated to start of with but you'll get the hang of it eventually.
Peace.

the ball switching makes it hard....it would also help if I had rhythm xD

I got a score of 5400 the first time I played... nice, but the switching is a little frustrating.

3050 points... Interesting concept. Bouncing a ball on the platforms is a good way to involve the player with the music. However, as others have pointed out, the main problem is the awkwardness of the ball switching.
I'm not opposed to the idea-- it adds depth to the gameplay, accentuates the division of the musical measures, and allows the player to go across large groups of spikes they'd otherwise be unable to cross. (Most of the time, at least) However, the notification method you choose is awkward at best. Something like a big, flashing, red arrow on the platform would be much easier to spot with peripheral vision and would allow the player to stay focused on the main action.

This would be MUCH, MUCH easier to play if it scrolled the other way.
Prototype Says:
Love the concept, but the transitions are a little awkward. I think it has more to do with the timing than anything.

i managed to get 5500 points.
It's a fantastic and fun concept!
