Pardon the half-assed background. I was going to do something far more complicaited but I ran out of patience. Also, I realized that this would never get submitted if I continued to try for a real background so this is the result of my impatience.
Anyway here's the first picture I ever drew of Razul in his dragon form. His species is the Bane Dragon and were born from a specific creature in Hell (the Soul Collector), which I will draw at a later date. They are a serpentine species of dragon and Razul is the elder.

In all seriousness, this is absolutely amazing. The coloring is really really well done. And just about everything else, too. The background isn't bad, but it would be really awesome to have a detailed background and stuff. Anyway, great job.

I really love the bright redish orange against black, and I think the background is fitting for a portrait like this. :>

I really adore the textures and colouring you did, and it blunt that you spent a lot of time on trhis piece. I think It looks absolutely fine the way it is, I can imagine with a background things would be too distracting =)
