WAAAAH It's Hean! X_x

This is a picture of a character created by (And I STILL don't know his dA name! <_<...). We were RP-ing over MSN IM with Mikki and this dude, and so many other people made these pictures of him so I thought I'd give it a whirl. ^x^

His name is... well, Hean. And I do NOT think he's really all supernatural-lookin' like this! >< At least, that's not really how he described him. >.> Still, I thought, 'Hey, if I can draw him, why not make it cool and smexy and stuff?' X} And out of my mind shot this ... weirdness. o.o

For once, I'm EXTERNALLY pleased with the sheen in the hair! And I also got the exact appearence and folds with the wings in his head and his jacket.

But his eyes... meh, I think I could've done a lot less lazier. U__U There's just too much white shinespots, and the litttle black dots look like they're drawn on by a kindergartener! >w< D@mn! Also notice a LOT of spots where the smudging and blur got out of outline. Too much carrying away with shading and luster, I guess. >.>

ALSO, this picture was an experimental thing too! I tried out a few new things. First of all, I learned where to place the light flares if I want to create a circular gradient blend. Then there's an experiment with fading! o3o You can see where his body is fading out into the white, I guess it's mist or fog or clouds or something. o0
AND, a new experiment with TEXT! >w> I never really shaded or added any real depth to text before, and I must say I think it turned out very nicely!


The allover appearence? ... I, don't really think it was originally what was thinking of, but... AH H3ll, just take it as a rookie guess! "
