Am I the only one who thinks Hellraiser is one of the most retarded movies ever made, but the special effects are so fucking amazing for it's time period? Stupid bad acting ruined it, yet I keep on watching it

Anyways, this was inspired by that scene where the one guy is summoned from the dead, and he like comes out of a puddle of blood from the floor, it be neat

Drawn AND colored on artgrounds (The pen pressure equals sex ), textures done on photoshop

AND NO, I DID NOT USE ANY REFERENCES, AND YES, I USED ONE STYLE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Enjoy!

I remember that scene!
I want to give him a tampon lmao *stupid me*
Anyway, very nice picture, I like the pose and the texture fits the pic very well.

Parva lupa Says:

Wow that expression is really speaking! I do think that the background could use a couple more lines to indicate the sphere and aweful place, would give even more feeling to the picture.

EtherealMog Says:

I like the muscle and blood colours you've used, though he looks like he been burned to some degree, still an interesting use of colour! I also like the facial expression and the pose as they both suggest that the person is feeling a deep painful anguish...and the general wet gooey aspect of this is enhanced by that, different yet interesting work! Keep it up!!

burningearthgreysky Says:

this is awesome. hellraizor did suck (plot wise) but it was the standard eighties horror movie. (infact in comparison to some other horror movies from that time period hellraizor was using out dated technology.) gore from the eighties was the best, because it wasn't C.G.ed. they always used either real animal blood or some substitute. (jam in the case of john carpenters the thing.) and it always looked real. CGI technology is still imperfect and thats why modern gore isn't as graphic as eighties gore. plus there's a good and decent bit of cornyness added to it. *huggles and faves*

Tumult Says:
