What can I say? I love birds! This was originally supposed to be my blue and gold, Nikki, but this is very first piece with markers, and the chest ended up too brown. I did a little research (to make sure facial and wing markings were correct) and changed it to a scarlet macaw. Drawn from my own photograph.
Background suggestions? I don't want anything really complex, but something that will really compliment the bird. When completed, I will offer the original for sale. Comments and critiques are welcome!

The colors, like, blend together and...the detail is awesome. It looks like a real parrot, almost like a photo, except, there's a big watermark on it so...yeah
