I spent a lot of time on trains last sunday, and since I had a piece of paper and pens along, I decided to sketch something for the comic
Inverloch. I had only memory to go on, and the train jarred my hand a few times. Over all, I'm still quite satisfied, since I haven't been doing ink drawings for very long.
The point of this picture is that he is charging in to kill somebody while dropping a pendant that is a souvenir from that person's past. It's all a little complicated, but a great story, so I'd really recommend you
read Inverloch. The art is beautiful, the characters have depth enough and the story offers suspense and revelation at well-calculated intervals.
Details: The fur and posture are satisfactory, as are the silhouettes in the background. The feet look kind of odd, and the trees look too dark and dominant in my opinion. I also desperately need to extend my repertoire of shading techniques. More work is definitely needed on fabric (capes, shirts and the like).
