My last and final painting of the semester and I think its one of my favorites second to that of the portrait I did of Kyo. This one I actually changed quite a bit from the originaly photo I simplified the background and tried to make it look like the colors were bleeding into each other. Not quite as successful as I wanted but I did an ok job.
I also changed the color of his jacket and hat making it a reddish color rather than white. I also had to get rid of the cross because it was a maltisse cross, and while it doesnt nessecarily mean that much now (mostly cause i have a bracelt with the same cross) there are some people who might get offended by it so I just took it out. Anyway I just love this painting and it actually works rather well as a companion piece to the Kyo painting even with the different color scheme.
